2048 6×6 expands the puzzle to 36 cells. The extra room helps you preserve empty spaces and build longer chains, but high scores still depend on keeping the board organized rather than swiping at random. Your current 6×6 game and best score are stored separately on this device.
How is 2048 6×6 different from 4×4 and 5×5?
The merge rule stays the same: two equal tiles combine into one tile worth twice as much. A 6-row by 6-column board gives you 36 positions, so the board fills more slowly, but your large tiles also have farther to travel before they meet. Whole-board organization matters more as the game gets longer.
A practical strategy for 2048 6×6
Choose one anchor corner, keep your largest values close to it and form a descending chain along the edge. On a 6×6 board, do not use the extra space to scatter numbers everywhere. Treat the far side as a buffer that feeds smaller tiles back into your main chain.
2048 6×6 frequently asked questions
What is 2048 6×6?
It is a 2048 variant played on a 6-row by 6-column board with 36 cells. Movement, merging and scoring follow the usual 2048 rules.
Is 2048 6×6 easier than 4×4?
More empty cells make the opening more forgiving, but keeping 36 positions ordered and bringing large tiles together requires more planning. It is roomier early on and strategically different in longer games.
